Dr. Iyengar is the best! From day 1 he showed compassion, answered all my questions I had about my injury. He simplified his explanations so that I understood them which was a huge relief to me. Every visit just his greeting alone would ease my tension. We would address any concerns I had or he had and we would get them resolved. My surgery was a success and I have been on track with my healing. His professionalism is outstanding. The staff at Alpine Orthopedic was superb.
First of all, I have never had surgery and told Dr. Iyengar that. He was so pleasant and assured me that everything was going to be alright. Well, he was right, what an amazing doctor. From the beginning to the end, I felt so comfortable with the doctor and his staff. The surgery went very well. I love Dr. Iyengar because he takes his time with you and is caring enough to answer all of your questions and you can feel that he truly cares about what you have to say. Dr. Iyengar is an excellent and amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional, personable, friendly, caring, and easy to understand regarding medical references and terminology. My surgical shoulder repair experience far exceeded my expectations. He is completely thorough with explaining how everything works, will be repaired and follow-up post op as well. My husband & I were so impressed with Dr. Iyengar. He was patient & caring & explained the procedure to us and readily answered any questions we had, before shoulder surgery & after. This is my orthopedic surgeon. I had reverse total shoulder replacement 8 weeks out from surgery have at least 90% of Mobility back. pain was minimal got off pain medication right away. Doing strength training and physical therapy looking forward to having the other shoulder fixed total replacement in January or February of next year sorry I waited so long to have this done that is my only regret. Dr. Iyengar his staff is wonderful the office is very helpful .
I fully tore my ACL on the proximal end and Dr. Iyengar repaired it using a cutting edge internal brace procedure. I could not be happier. I still have my own ACL, reattached, my proprioception feels exactly as it did before the surgery, and best of all, I was back to work as a firefighter 23 weeks after I tore it (20 weeks post op). Torn September 16, back to work February 25--that's just over 4 months. A Kaiser surgeon told me I would be out for a year before I heard about Dr. Iyengar.
